Since having the idea of a Lit Mag Reading Club, dozens of editors have reached out to express support and interest. I’m immensely grateful…and really excited!

Below is the calendar for 2022-2023 our Lit Mag Reading Club.

Wherever you see TBD or no time listed, it means those exact details have not yet been nailed down. As soon as they are, I’ll update the schedule.

A few more lit mags will also be added to the calendar. So this schedule is mostly, but not totally, final.

As a reminder of what this all entails, participants will read one-two lit mags each month. Near the end of the month, we will have an online discussion about the pieces in the magazines. (I will lay ground rules, of course, with the aim of keeping everything constructive and respectful.)

At the end of each month, the editors of the journals will zoom in so we can ask them about how the pieces were selected and talk in greater depth about particular works. In many instances, the issue’s contributors will also join the discussion, so we’ll get to pick their brains too.

(To get the full explanation of what this club is, how lit mags were chosen, who may participate, what to expect and so on, click here.)

Wherever possible, I have tried to secure discounts on lit mags for participants. You will find information about those discounts below (behind the paywall). This information will be updated continuously through the year. I will be sure to send reminders to make sure no one misses anything.

All editor conversations will be recorded and made available for paying subscribers to view at their convenience.
