Recently a reader asked me to discuss literary citizenship. They specifically wanted me to discuss “good literary citizenship,” and cited me as an example of one such good citizen.
I always chuckle a bit whenever people ask me to talk about being a good literary citizen. Clearly, not everyone is familiar with the article I wrote for Salon some years ago.
