Hi John. No subscription is necessary. You could purchase individual issues. Though I agree that can get expensive, and shipping to Mexico certainly adds a cost. Some journals offer partial content online, and I'll try to incorporate more online magazines in the future. Regardless of how much of the magazines you're able to read, you're still welcome to join the Reading Club. The conversations are informative, and you will still get access to the editor interviews.
Becky, I'd love to keep following your newsletter but can't in good conscience do so when you are on a platform that refuses to kick out actual Nazis. Please reconsider and use any other platform - Buttondown, Ghost, Wordpress, etc.
Thanks, Becky! I ordered ASF. It’s like a mini Christmas for me every time a new lit mag comes in the mail.
Would I have to subscribe to these lit mags in order to participate? If so that could be expensive.
Difficult too cause I live in Mexico City.

Thanks for getting back.
Lit mags are terra incognita for me. I've submitted to a number of them, though not recently. My luck was spotty.
