Your newsletter provides so many great and important bits of information for writers. Writers are constantly told what to write, how to write it, which genres are popular, which not, have an arch, be realistic and yet complex, show, don't tell, be dramatic, not preachy, do this, do that. There seems to be an endless list of do's and don't's circulating in writing discourse.s. And yet, ironically, we give great kudos to writers who ignore some of these directions and do their own thing. Yes, we're told, find your own voice, your own unique style, be different than all the others--but show, don't tell. I found your last interview very helpful, and I'm looking forward to others. It's good to hear what specific editors have to say and what they want from their writers. Writing is a very lonely gruelling job wherein you feel so vulnerable to everyone's opinions It's great to see people in the flesh defining what they feel is good for their projects. RonT

Happy to have found this litmag rag. When you're submitting to journals with less than a 1% acceptance rate, it's nice to get some some insight on who's on the other side of the fence over which you're tossing your literary masterpieces.
